CSOLCHINA – CAMPOSOL LAUNCHES 2026/27 NEW SEASON AND UNVEILS CHINESE BRAND “凯沛果”!

Posted On: July 22, 2026

Camposol, one of Peru’s largest blueberry exporters, held the inaugural ceremony for the first shipment of the 2026/27 season at Shouheng International Agricultural Market in Gaobeidian, officially unveiling its new Chinese brand name — Kaipéi Guǒ.

Data shows that Camposol is not only the largest exporter of Peruvian blueberries to Asia, but also the number one exporter to China. In the 2025/26 season, Camposol exported 9,020 tons of blueberries to Asian markets, accounting for 16.5% of Peru’s total blueberry exports to the region — all from a single company. Of this total, over 84% were supplied directly to the Chinese market, reaching 7,564 tons.

“China has become one of the most strategic markets for Camposol, and 凯沛果 represents our long-term commitment to bring this market the very best of what we do,” said Ricardo Naranjo, CEO of Camposol. “As we begin the 2026/27 season, we remain focused on delivering consistent quality to Chinese consumers, while continuing to invest — through programs like Origen — in the next generation of blueberries.”

To align with Chinese consumer taste preferences, Camposol’s operations team maintains strict control over cultivation and post-harvest handling, ensuring every batch of blueberries retains excellent firmness and shelf life upon arrival at retailers. Many domestic retailers have reported that Camposol blueberries offer long shelf life, stable quality, and an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity, making them highly popular in the market.

Camposol has long been optimistic about the blueberry market in China and across Asia. As early as 2018, the company established a subsidiary in China and has since built a broad market network across multiple sales channels. Over time, the China subsidiary has expanded its scope from initially focusing solely on the Chinese mainland to now covering the entire Asian market.

To better serve the Chinese market, Camposol has upgraded and localized its brand, launching the Chinese name “凯沛果”. “凯” evokes victory and vitality — an echo of ‘Cam’, of Camposol. “沛” means abundance, energy, and carries within it the radical for water. “果” is fruit. The brand name not only retains the essence of the company’s original name but also conveys a healthy and passionate message in Chinese.

“凯沛果 is the identity we developed specifically for the Chinese market,” said Luis Miguel Baanante, Camposol China Manager. “It was a rigorous process: more than 300 name proposals, linguistic validation with native speakers across six dialects, legal verification. We did not improvise. We invested. Because China deserves that.”

Despite the vast distance across the Pacific Ocean, the Chancay Port has greatly enhanced the export efficiency of Peruvian blueberries, and Camposol was among the first Peruvian companies to export blueberries to China through Chancay Port. In November 2025, COSCO Shipping Lines Peru and Camposol signed a letter of intent for cooperation, ensuring logistics efficiency and quality assurance for blueberry shipments to China.

In December 2025, Camposol announced the securing of US$400 million in financing, part of which will support its blueberry variety improvement program. In February this year, the company officially launched its new breeding program, Origen. Origen is a varietal innovation programme designed to address the main challenges facing the sector: productivity, consistent quality, and adaptability to the world’s most demanding markets. Starting from genetics to build a stable and consistent supply model from a single origin.

In the coming years, Camposol will continue to bring more premium blueberry products and new varieties to the market. With its new Chinese brand “凯沛果”, the company looks forward to providing Chinese consumers with more fresh, delicious, and consistently high-quality blueberries.
